Review: Up In Flames by Abbi Glines

The villain of Rosemary Beach finally gets her own happy ending in the long-awaited final novel of the #1 New York Times bestselling new adult romance series by Abbi Glines.

The blockbuster #1 New York Times bestselling Rosemary Beach series ends with a bang when the troubled character readers love to hate gets her very own happily ever after in this eagerly anticipated and overwhelmingly requested story. Known for causing problems for everyone in Rosemary Beach, Nan has been growing up lately, and she’s finally taking center stage—and finding love with the man she least expected.

Hiya Book Lovelies, it's Risa and.....WOW! What a crazzzyyyy ride this one was. NAN’S STORY GUYSSSS!!! The evil she-devil we've all been waiting for! And it was nuts and not at ALL what I was expecting.
I really truly HATE star ratings but I’d give this one a SOLID…. 3.75….okay 4...okay is my REAL breakdown opinion….
So we’ve known Nan all the way since book one, Fallen Too Far and she's the vixen we’ve all LOVED TO HATE am I right? I have definitely muttered a few choice words while reading about all her shining moments in Rosemary Beach. I was hesitant to say the least when I found out she was getting a book, but knowing Major Colt was a love interest I knew there was no way I’d be able to resist.
After reading the previous book in the series (The Best Goodbye) I had a feeling Cope was going to come into play somehow...and he does…..and it's WEIRD.

She's a bitch. But being inside her head you can see that she OWNS it and I respect that. We all know she's been through a lot and what her issues are so that wasn’t a surprise; but it was nice to see how she wears it on the inside and to know that she does indeed have a heart with real warm and fuzzy fantasies.

So this adorable fun loving bad boy guppy is all big and bad now working for the hit guys right? Ohhh you adorable little slut nugget! Pardon me but seriously...Major is WAY immature and just not enough to handle Nan in the beginning. He wants to roam around plowing a lot of fields and Nan is a JOB to him. Along the way I think that changes but he’s just not ready to accept it. I feel like he moves forward and then talks himself into back stepping... I found myself rolling my eyes at him...A LOT. I mean I LOVE HIM, but he really is a GUPPY. this guy is big and bad and scary and when boys like Captain say “He’s not to be fucked with” I think it’s safe to say he’s on my danger radar… OF COURSE NAN IS INSTANTLY ATTRACTED to this brick wall with a man bun! He’s super quiet. He’s also creepy because he too is working a “job” so he has surveillanced Nan's every move….and their sexy times were just too much weird for me. (There's kink...and then there's this weirdness…) It seemed pretty obvious that Nan felt that's what she needed, and everything was consensual so more power too them, it just wasn’t my cup.

Started real strong for me which is different from what I've seen other reviews comment, but I was hooked from the beginning. The dynamics between Major and Nan were interesting for sure…

The middle kind of lost me...I wasn’t sure what was going one...I honestly disliked all three characters at this point. I wanted to slap them all….well not Cope because he scares me...but you get it yeah?
This story brought on A LOT of frustration for me. I was so annoyed OMG...but like in an invested good kind of way…?

Then there's some gut wrenching heartbreak and sneaky beautiful book vixen tricks and LA-LA-LA Happy Ending….!!

I mean I KNOW that's ridiculous but I can’t give you more than that without revealing too many hints to the epic twist that happen in this BOOK!

The end is cute and happy….I promise...for the most part….HA! HA! HA! (evil laugh)

Now...I THINK this is to be the last of the Rosemary Beach series, and with THAT, I do wish there was more cameo updates on all the previous couples. We see some Rush and Blaire and limited Mase and Reese and that's about it….

Overall this was a good book and I AM HAPPY that Nan finally found her love with someone who is apparently a perfect match for her.
