Release Day, Review, & Giveaway: IT ENDS WITH US by Colleen Hoover

"Colleen Hoover reminds readers that love is a fragile thing, built from courage, hope, and tears. Every person with a heartbeat should read this book."

– Kami Garcia, #1 New York Times bestselling author

Sometimes it is the one who loves you who hurts you the most.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, and maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

With this bold and deeply personal novel, Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground for her as a writer. Combining a captivating romance with a cast of all-too-human characters, It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price

Oh. My. Goodness! Okay, let me just gather my thoughts before I start typing up this review.  My feelings are literally all over the place. This book is a large glass of straight vodka, and I'm seriously having a huge book hangover as we speak.

I'm not sure how great this review is going to be because words just don't do it justice... but it's also because I think going into this book completely blind is going to be in your best interest!

From the very first chapter, I knew I was going to love this book. I loved it till the very last page in the Acknowledgements. I knew Colleen could write; I love ALL of her books. But she took this book to a whole new level. Words cannot express my love for this book. It's a beautiful heartbreak. It's empowering. It's honest. It's the naked truth.

This book was a huge awakening for me. I've never experienced a lot of the things that Colleen has written about, but she sure knows how to make you understand the pain that people go through. You truly feel all the emotions that the protagonist feels. I found myself confused right along with Lily and I felt for her. Hard.

I applaud Colleen for stepping outside the box, and reaching in to grasp something that no one else really dared to do. I feel like this is a book that every woman and every man should pick up to read. Not only is this book extremely relatable, but it's something that everyone should be aware of.

Thank you Colleen, for giving me the pleasure to read one of the best books I have read in a while.

I would love to hear what everyone else thinks as well! Comment below and remember to stay spoiler free!
